About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join Mihan General Trading and lead the finance function of a growing Food & Beverage / FMCG business. This is a hands-on leadership role for a finance professional who can run the full finance operation end-to-end — from accounting and reporting to cost control, cash flow, compliance, and team management — while also acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior management.
You’ll take ownership of budgeting, profitability analysis, inventory and food costing, working capital management, and audit/compliance, and will play a key role in driving cost efficiency and financial discipline across the business.
This role suits an experienced finance professional with strong F&B, FMCG, trading, or distribution experience who is ready to manage full accounts and lead a finance team.
What You’ll Do
Financial Management & Reporting
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Deliver financial analysis and recommendations that support key business decisions
- Ensure accurate, timely month-end and year-end closing
Accounting Operations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure full reconciliation of bank, supplier, customer, and inventory accounts
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting
- Track performance against budget and drive corrective action
- Build financial models to support strategic decisions
- Monitor profitability by product, customer, and department
Cost Control (F&B Focus)
- Monitor food cost, margins, and pricing strategy
- Oversee inventory valuation, wastage, and expiry loss
- Partner with Procurement and Operations to drive cost efficiency
Inventory & Supply Chain Finance
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and stock valuation
- Analyze supplier costs, purchasing trends, and working capital needs
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage daily cash position and liquidity
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and coordinate banking activities
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT requirements
- Lead coordination with external auditors and maintain strong internal controls
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop the finance team
- Set priorities, review accuracy, and train staff on finance procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- 12+ years of finance and accounting experience, including significant time in a Finance Manager role managing full accounts
- Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Trading, or Distribution strongly preferred
- UAE experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with an ERP/accounting system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Tally, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial compliance
- Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving business
