Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective management of financial operations, and collaboration with various teams to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
● Manage a team that develops financial and valuation models, materials, and recommendations for executive decision-making through comprehensive analyses and appropriate methods.
● Coordinate strategic financial planning for the company, including expenses, income, insurance coverage, objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance.
● Focus on daily and month-end accounting to determine results, including P&L activity (management fees, fee splitting, gross-ups, reclasses), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals), and accounts-receivable cash application, in compliance with IFRS.
● Support finance partners in implementing valuation models, measuring results, tracking performance vs. expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
● Provide insights about spending trends, cost-savings initiatives, and margin opportunities.
● Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
● Prepare accurate financial reports and present findings to management.
● Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, adhering to IFRS standards.
● Collaborate with project teams to assess financial needs and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
● 8-12 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
● Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.
● Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
● Excellent communication and leadership skills.
