Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded finance leader to lead our central finance function across a multi-market food business. The role will oversee the finance and accounting team supporting our food distribution and meat and seafood processing operations, with end-to-end accountability for financial control, compliance, planning, liquidity and business performance.
What You Will Own
- Group accounting, month-end close, consolidation and management reporting.
- VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing, statutory compliance and external audits.
- Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, FP&A and performance analysis.
- Financial modelling for pricing, capital expenditure, funding, investments and expansion.
- Cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital.
- Landed cost, inventory valuation, product costing, production yield, waste, and margin analysis.
- Internal controls, finance policies, approval processes and risk management.
- Finance systems, process improvement, workflow automation and reporting.
- Leadership and development of the central finance and accounting team.
- Financial support to management, commercial, procurement, warehouse and production teams.
The Best Fit
You are a qualified accountant, either a CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent, with strong technical knowledge and practical commercial experience.
You should bring:
- Strong financial accounting, consolidation, reporting and control capability.
- Hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e-invoicing.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and financial modelling skills.
- Experience managing cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital.
- Experience in food distribution, retail, or processing/manufacturing business.
- Strong understanding of landed cost, inventory, product costing, yield, and waste.
- Experience improving finance systems, processes, controls, and reporting.
- The ability to lead teams and communicate clearly across the business.
Job Location
The role is based at our headquarters in Dubai Investment Park and may require occasional local and international travel.
Reporting
The role reports directly to the Managing Director or another executive, as assigned.
