Job Description
THE POSITIONAn experienced Treasurer to oversee our company’s financial operations, manage risks, and optimize our financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional
analytical skills
, and a
proven track record
in treasury management within the trading or related sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Participate in planning and budgeting (including OPEX Tech. management)3. Present and review reports, accounts and financial statements
4. Implement company policies in documentation and accounting in compliance with banks / legislation requirements
5. Ensure the correct work of financial management systems (1C)6. Prepare the analysis of freight expenses/income
7. Ensure Book and record keeping as per requirements of Owners
8. Raise freight / additional services invoices and assume responsibility for control the income
9. Ensure remittance of incoming invoices in time
10. Handle incoming and outgoing banking transaction
11. Communicate with Tech. management and Agents
12. Internal
communication
with different departments of the Group, liaise with staff about financial / freight matters
13. Assist in improvements of financial IT solutions
14. Assist/Coordination in signing and presentation of documents to banks
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a similar role, with a preference for experience in the commodity trading or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and strategies, with expertise in risk management practices.
Excellent negotiation,
communication
, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
Proficiency in
financial modeling
and analysis.
Strong ethical judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
