Role

We are looking to place aFinance Managerto develop and manage the finance activities with direction from company executives.

Tasks and Duties

Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the company.

Provide executives withup-to-dateinformation on upcoming VAT, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.

Prepare monthly financial reports, including the EXCO monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations.

Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts using the previous six months and forecasting the coming twelve months.

Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

Develop KPIs for the finance and accounting team.

Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operation of the finance function, coordinating schedules, activities, and reports with other departments.

Establish, implement, and maintain operating procedures, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budget, and internal controls covering all accounting activities.

Supervise non-exempt clerical and accounting employees, overseeing, and managing the accounting team.

Train employees in company accounting procedures.

Evaluate subordinate work performance and conformance to regulations, making appropriate recommendations in line with the company review process.

Investigate complex financial transactions and prepare reports summarizing the findings.

Act as the board of directors’ secretary during EXCO and BOD meetings, following up on all board matters and action items.

Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

Develop accounting forms and manuals for accounting staff and direct their work activities.

Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

Provide internal and external auditing services for the company.

Perform and supervise financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.

Implement ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP).

Cost Control and Support

Identify areas for efficient cost management and areas of improvement.

Support the supply chain team in supplier negotiations, selections, &inventory management.

Keep daily track of all business-related bank accounts.

Establish and maintain relationships with banks.

Negotiate bank facilities such as LC’s and bank guarantees, bonds, interest rates, and fees.
