Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to take overall ownership of the company’s finance function and strengthen financial planning, controls, cash flow management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounts function.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity planning, ensuring sufficient visibility of upcoming financial commitments.
- Oversee supplier payments, receivables, collections, and credit management.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Provide regular MIS and management reporting to the CEO/Management with clear analysis of financial performance.
- Establish strong financial controls, processes, and approval systems across the company.
- Monitor costs, margins, profitability, and inventory/stock value and identify areas requiring management action.
- Oversee accounting, month-end/year-end closing, audits, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Sales and Management on financial planning and commercial decisions.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions/external parties.
- Lead and develop the existing Finance team and ensure clear responsibilities and accountability within the department.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of Finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Finance leadership role.
- CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Strong UAE experience, particularly in financial management, cash flow, banking, VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Experience in a manufacturing, fragrance, FMCG, chemical or trading environment would be strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory, costing, procurement, and working-capital management.
- Experience working with ERP systems and establishing/improving financial processes and controls.
- Must be hands-on, commercially strong, and capable of working in a growing organization where systems and processes are still being developed.
- Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
Pay: AED20,000.00 – AED30,000.00 per month
