Finance and Accounts Specialist Jobs in Doha, Qatar at People Dynamics
Responsibilities:
Records the transactions in General Ledger in a timely manner.
Helps in monthly closing of the books including preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
Performs reconciliations and adjusting entries for internal and external requirements.
Prepares and maintains the monthly financial statements for submission to management and auditors.
Liaises with external and internal auditors.
Passes entries in the Fixed Assets Module.
Capitalizes fixed assets and maintains the Asset Register.
Prepares reports on fixed assets additions and detailed listing of assets for confirmation by cost centre heads.
Performs one-off assignments as required in Group Finance.
Essential Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and finance department (preferably in telecom).
Knowledge in Oracle Financials or equivalent ERP is desirable.
Role-Based
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; part/full qualifications like CA, CIMA, CMA, or CPA may be desirable.
