Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Field Supervisor / Senior Project Engineer with expertise in Instrument Engineering for our Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Instrumentation, DCS systems, and extensive experience with Saudi Aramco standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the execution of Instrumentation and DCS systems installations.
Ensure all work complies with Saudi Aramco standards and relevant industry codes.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet project objectives.
Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Perform site inspections and evaluations to verify work quality and safety.
Oversee the commissioning and troubleshooting of Instrumentation and DCS systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Liaise with clients, including Saudi Aramco representatives, to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
Required
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Experience:
10+ years in Instrument Engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas projects.
Industry
Experience:
Experience in Saudi Aramco projects is a must.
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with Instrumentation systems, DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and project engineering.
Education:
A degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Standards Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Saudi Aramco standards and regulations.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and field personnel.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and client interactions.
Problem Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the commissioning and startup of Instrumentation systems.
Familiarity with HAZOP studies and risk management.
Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance in the Oil & Gas industry.
