Position: Field Service Technician (Oil and Gas, Onshore/Offshore)
Job Description
Job Summary
Operate and maintain NOV equipment in offshore and onshore locations.
Responsibilities
Work onboard various rigs ensuring all personnel follow safe working procedures and practices, operate and maintain NOV WSS equipment onboard to obtain safe andefficient operations.
Timely maintenance of equipment to avert downtime, use rig permit to work system and TBRA’s to ensure no LTI’s during operations.
Conduct daily meetings with the client and drilling contractor, ensuring a good working relationship.
Complete rig surveys for installation of new fluid control equipment and modifications to existing installations on various rigs.
Supervise installation of new fluid control equipment while working with the client and third party contractors.
Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations.
Timely submission of daily reports, maintenance reports and EOWR.
Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
Essential:
Secondary level educational certificate.
Previous offshore experience.
Willing to work on rotational shifts.
Willingness to adapt and learn on acontinuous improvementbasis.
Hands on to improve a process.
Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
Willingness to learn anything that will benefit the company to achieve its goal.
Desirable:
BEng Engineering Or BSC in Sciences.
1-5 years minimum industrial experience.
Knowledge of NOV equipment.
