FIELD OPERATOR Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Aspire Mechanical & Electrical Services LLC
1. The Field Operator (FO) role is part of critical position to operate the power and water plant safely and efficiently in order to achieve commercial targets within the strict environmental and contractual limits.
2. To act as a Designated Person under the Company Safety Rules including applying the isolations as instructed by the Safety Controllers and reporting any abnormal condition in compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures.
3. To operate and maintain the facility in the field, optimizing plant performance through established procedures.
4. To monitor the facility and report through defects, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, or any other abnormal situation to the relevant Control Room Engineer and/or the Shift Manager.
5. Bachelor Degree or Diploma or Technical Trade School Qualification equivalent to NVQ level -3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
6. Professional Training on a CCGT & Desalination Plant is preferred.
7. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in Power & Desalination Plant Operations
8. Minimum of 3 years’ active experience in applying mechanical and electrical isolations as Designated Person or equivalent role is mandatory.
9. Proven experience as a Permit Acceptor is a plus.
10. Fully understands the plant processes, equipment location, features and parameters to demonstrate procedural compliance in all plant operation activities by operating plant equipment through established valve line-ups and system/component operating procedures
11. Must be able to maintain the site access requirement for CICPA and restrictions on using any device with a camera e.g., smartphone/laptop with a camera
12. Good command of English at least IELTS 4.5 & Arabic is a plus .
