The incumbent will work closely with the internal project team to supervise job site activities and manpower resources for assigned projects to ensure completion of project deliverables to meet project timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure WWJSSS pertaining to construction activities are being adhered to.
Implement and maintain all ISO 9000 procedures. Arrange for electrical power to be available for testing of lifts.
Supervise all installation works.
Ascertain the actual location of building and study details of the lifts/lift hoist-ways/escalators.
Liaise with Main Contractor on delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
Ensure that the site structural dimensions correspond with that in the shop drawings.
Conduct regular site inspections on quality and safety issues.
Monitor progress of construction and plan schedule for installation.
Supervise all sub-contractors work ure sub-contractors fulfil their work scope in a timely manner without defects.
Supervise and control the discipline, morale and performance of subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma or Higher Nitec in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years similar experience as an Installation Supervisor/Foreman or equivalent.
Prior supervisory experience to manage a team of installers or testers and subcontractors.
Strong technical knowledge of installation works of lifts and escalators products.
Knowledge of ISO procedures.
Team player andresults-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Good written and verbalcommunication skills; with strong presentation skills.
