Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on fiberglass hulls, decks, and other components of marine vessels.
Apply resin and fiberglass to damaged areas, ensuring proper lamination and curing processes.
Sand, trim, and shape fiberglass surfaces for both aesthetic and structural purposes.
Work with marine coatings and finishing products to provide a smooth, durable surface.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vessels to ensure safe and effective operation.
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and the work area to ensure a safe environment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with fiberglass in the marine industry.
Proficiency with marine-specific fiberglass products and tools.
Strong understanding of marine vessel construction and repair techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to marine repairs.
Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of marine safety standards and procedures.
