Job Opportunity:
Fiberglass Laminator & Gelcoat Finisher
Marinedal, a Saudi Arabian factory specializing in high-quality boat manufacturing using advanced technology, is seeking a Fiberglass Laminator & Gelcoat Finisher to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Our company is committed to delivering exceptional marine experiences while promoting Saudi tourism and utilizing environmentally friendly raw materials sourced locally.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare molds for lamination by cleaning, waxing, and applying mold release agents.
Apply gelcoat to molds using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
Accurately mix resins and catalysts according to specifications.
Use hand lay-up and spray-up techniques to apply fiberglass materials to molds.
Trim, sand, and grind excess fiberglass for a smooth finish.
Perform final finishing, including buffing and polishing.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe workspace.
Meet quality standards and follow safety protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in fiberglass lamination and gelcoat finishing.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fiberglass work.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
