Female Sales Associate Jobs in Al `Ayn at Armada Retail Concept

QC-Roles and Responsibilities:

Quality control ensures reliability, safety, and compliance with both internal and external standards.

Here are the key roles and responsibilities of quality control in low voltage switchgear:

1. Inspection and Testing

Incoming Materials Inspection: Ensure that raw materials and components (such as circuit breakers, busbars, relays, etc.) meet specified quality standards before being used in manufacturing.
Dimensional Inspection: Ensure that all parts of the switchgear (enclosures, panels, busbars, etc.) are within the required tolerances and dimensions.
Electrical Testing: Perform electrical tests, such as insulation resistance, continuity, and high-voltage testing, to ensure the components function properly under normal and fault conditions.
Functional Testing: Test the switchgear to ensure all functions (e.g., switching, protection, control) work correctly as designed.

2. Documentation and Compliance

Standards Compliance: Ensure that the switchgear meets national and international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, UL, etc.), as well as customer-specific requirements.
Quality Documentation: Maintain records of inspections, test results, certifications, and approvals for traceability and compliance audits.
Certification: Oversee the process of obtaining necessary quality certifications and approvals from relevant bodies and customers.

3. Material and Component Selection

Vendor Qualification: Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to provide quality materials that meet required specifications.
Material Traceability: Ensure traceability of materials and components used in the manufacturing process to ensure product quality and accountability.

4. In-Process Quality Control

Production Line Monitoring: Monitor the manufacturing process, including assembly, wiring, and integration of components, to ensure quality at each stage.
Quality Checks: Conduct routine checks during production to identify defects or non-conformance and take corrective actions to prevent issues.
Root Cause Analysis: When defects are found, perform a root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.

5. Final Inspection and Quality Approval

Pre-Delivery Inspection: Conduct a final quality check before the switchgear is dispatched to ensure it meets all requirements and specifications.
Functional Verification: Verify the switchgear’s operation by simulating real-world conditions to ensure reliability and functionality.
Packaging and Labeling: Ensure proper packaging and labeling for shipment, protecting the switchgear from damage and ensuring that all required information is included.

6. Non-Conformance Management

Defect Identification: Identify and classify defects that occur during manufacturing or testing.
Corrective Actions: Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when non-conformances are identified, including rework, design changes, or process improvements.
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze and solve problems to prevent recurrence of defects or issues in the future.

7. Customer Communication

Customer Specifications: Communicate with customers to understand their specific requirements for switchgear quality and ensure compliance with those needs.
Complaint Resolution: Address any customer complaints related to product quality and take necessary actions to resolve issues promptly.

8. Continuous Improvement

Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve manufacturing processes, testing protocols, and inspection methods to enhance quality and reduce defects.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for employees involved in production and testing to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest quality practices, standards, and technologies.

9. Safety and Environmental Compliance

Safety Standards Compliance: Ensure that the production, testing, and handling of switchgear comply with all safety standards and regulations.
Environmental Impact: Ensure that the switchgear manufacturing process is environmentally friendly, adhering to regulations concerning waste management, emissions, and resource conservation.
