Job Description
A leading wellness group in the UAE is looking for an experienced Female Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting functions across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE accounting experience, hands-on knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax, and the ability to manage financial operations accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and accounting schedules.
- Manage UAE VAT compliance, including calculations, reconciliations, and timely VAT return filing.
- Maintain good working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and support related compliance requirements.
- Oversee accounting activities across multiple branches/locations.
- Monitor intercompany transactions, branch reconciliations, and expense allocations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper approvals and financial controls are maintained.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
- Review financial records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.
- Supervise and support the finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Provide management with financial information and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of UAE accounting/finance experience, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong hands-on experience with UAE VAT and VAT filing.
- Good knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience managing accounts for multiple branches or locations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in wellness, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or other multi-outlet environments will be an advantage.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
