Job Summary

The Admin & HR Officer is responsible for overseeing administrative operations and managing human resource functions to ensure organizational efficiency. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, payroll processing, compliance, and general administrative support, contributing to a productive and harmonious workplace.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in developing job descriptions and posting job vacancies.
Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers.
Prepare employment contracts and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Organize employee engagement activities and performance management initiatives.
HR Operations:
Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave, and payroll data.
Process payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
Monitor compliance with HR policies and recommend improvements where necessary.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and assist in organizing training sessions or workshops.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit HR-related reports to management as required.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Office Management:
Oversee daily office operations and ensure a clean, organized, and functional workplace.
Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Manage filing systems for company documents, contracts, and employee records.
Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls efficiently.
Facilities Management:
Coordinate with service providers for office maintenance, utilities, and security.
Supervise cleaning and support staff to ensure the workplace is well-maintained.
Event and Travel Coordination:
Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
Arrange travel and accommodation for employees as needed.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in a similar role, combining administrative and HR responsibilities.
Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of HR software or systems is an advantage.
