Job Overview We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As the face of our business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, welcoming checkout area. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys working with the public, and can handle fast-paced environments with a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Welcome customers warmly, assist them with questions, and provide a helpful, polite checkout experience. Transaction Processing: Scan items, input prices, apply discounts/coupons, and accurately process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile pay. Cash Handling: Manage a cash drawer, count back change accurately, and perform opening/closing drawer reconciliations to ensure zero discrepancies. Bagging & Packing: Carefully pack purchased items to ensure they are secure and undamaged. Return & Exchange Processing: Handle product returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy. Workspace Maintenance: Keep the checkout lanes, registers, and surrounding shelves clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags and receipt paper. Loss Prevention: Stay alert to security risks or suspicious activity and report them to management. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred but not required (we are happy to train the right person!). Basic Math Skills: Ability to calculate change, count inventory, and manage cash transactions quickly and accurately. Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system and credit card terminals. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift up to 25–30 lbs occasionally. Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Pay: AED1,367.73 – AED3,500.00 per month
