Position Summary
Guest Service Support Experts play a key role in creating an enjoyable guest experience by ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage services. Responsibilities include setting tables, assisting the kitchen, cleaning work areas, replenishing supplies, and providing overall support that enhances guest interactions. The role also requires maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style.
Responsibilities
- Set, reset, and maintain tables and dining equipment in accordance with service standards.
- Assist kitchen personnel with ingredient hand‑offs, prep, and service as needed.
- Clean and disinfect work areas, dining spaces, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Replenish supplies (e.g., linens, utensils, condiments) to ensure continuous service.
- Maintain a safe workplace by following safety procedures and reporting hazards.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Present a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
- Stay on feet, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move over uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Read and visually verify menu information and other service documents.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform all job duties as required and adapt to additional reasonable tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required; previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
