Job Description
In this role, you will:
Generate leads, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings for a variety of events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to social occasions and themed evenings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement captivating F&B promotions, ensuring maximum visibility and guest engagement. Be involved in managing our hotel’s F&B social media channels, creating engaging content that showcases our culinary offerings, promotions, and events, and building a loyal online community.
Oversee every aspect of catering events, including assisting during the event and leading the service team when required.
Provide exceptional service to all event attendees, anticipating their needs and resolving any issues with a smile and a can-do attitude.
Constantly research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new F&B concepts to keep our hotel’s offerings fresh and exciting.
Assist the F&B department with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
Functions/Events coordination experience
F&B background
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Sound verbal and written communication skills
An understanding of project management concepts (scheduling, cost, and time management)
Highly driven, creative, self-starter who is a natural problem solver
Must be proficient in MS Office programs
