About the job

An established hospitality and restaurant group in Qatar is seeking an experienced and highly connected F&B & Catering Sales Manager to lead business development, catering sales growth, government tenders, and strategic client acquisition initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company’s catering business, banquet operations, corporate accounts, and event services while developing long-term partnerships with government entities, private sector organizations, educational institutions, and event management companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase catering, banquet, and hospitality revenue.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within government, semi-government, corporate, educational, and private sectors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across ministries, government entities, corporations, schools, universities, and event organizers.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of catering, hospitality, and event opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Government Tenders & Contracts

  • Identify and monitor relevant government and semi-government tender opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of catering and hospitality tenders.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines.
  • Manage tender documentation, commercial proposals, pricing submissions, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop strategies to increase the company’s success rate in tender awards.
  • Catering & Events Growth
  • Drive sales for outdoor catering services, corporate functions, conferences, exhibitions, VIP events, weddings, and social occasions.
  • Promote banquet and event services for a venue with a capacity of up to 250 guests.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
  • Develop customised catering solutions for corporate and government clients.

Partnership Development

  • Build strategic partnerships with event management companies, wedding planners, conference organisers, and corporate service providers.
  • Develop preferred supplier relationships with major organisations and institutions.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry gatherings.
  • Leadership & Reporting
  • Participate in building and developing a dedicated sales team.
  • Establish sales KPIs, forecasting models, and client management systems.
  • Prepare regular reports covering pipeline activity, conversion rates, sales performance, and market opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Hospitality, Catering, F&B Sales, Business Development, or Corporate Sales.
  • Proven experience within the Qatar market is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated track record in government tenders and contract acquisition.
  • Existing network and strong relationships with government entities, corporations, educational institutions, and event organisers in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of catering operations, banquet sales, and hospitality services.
  • Experience in preparing commercial proposals, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and revenue-generation capabilities.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • A valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
