Job Summary:
Maison De Vacances is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to oversee operations across three key departments: Housekeeping, Guest Support, and Property Management Services. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enhancing guest experiences, managing team performance, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in administration, financial oversight, customer service, and team leadership within the hospitality or short-term rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Housekeeping & Property Maintenance
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping operations to maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
Monitor property maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upkeep.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all managed properties.
Implement quality control checks for cleaning and maintenance services.
2. Guest Support & Customer Service
Oversee guest communication and ensure prompt responses to inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Enhance the guest experience by ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services.
Implement service improvements based on guest feedback and online reviews.
Handle escalations and resolve guest issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction rates.
3. Property Management Services
Support property owners by ensuring their units are well-maintained, profitable, and aligned with company standards.
Coordinate property inspections, inventory management, and reporting for owners.
Assist in pricing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue.
Keep records of legal compliance, contracts, and property-related documentation.
4. Administrative & Financial Oversight
Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial reports related to property management and housekeeping.
Oversee payroll, invoicing, and supplier payments.
Maintain accurate records of occupancy rates, maintenance costs, and revenue performance.
Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management review.
5. Team Management & Leadership
Lead and mentor housekeeping, guest support, and property management teams.
Conduct training sessions to improve staff performance and service quality.
Manage employee scheduling, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive work environment to ensure high team morale and retention.
6. Business Development & Growth
Identify opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio and enhance revenue streams.
Build relationships with property owners, service providers, and business partners.
Assist in marketing initiatives and promotional strategies to attract new guests and clients.
Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to improve operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in short-term rentals, hospitality, or property management.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Hostify, Airbnb, or similar CRM tools).
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.
