FACULTY OPENING IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT (FOCUS ON STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION / LEADERSHIP / BOARD DYNAMICS) (SENIOR POSITION)
HEC Paris, Doha is seeking to strengthen its faculty team with an outstanding researcher and teacher for the position of Professor of Strategic Management (Senior position). The ideal candidate will have teaching and research interests in one or more of the following areas:
Strategy implementation, Leadership, and Board dynamics.

HEC Paris, Doha is a branch campus of HEC Paris, operating in close coordination with the main campus and upholding the same standards of excellence. Professors at HEC Paris, Doha are engaged in teaching, research, and service activities. Teaching primarily focuses on Executive Education for senior managers and high-potential professionals. Candidates with a proven track record in executive education are preferred.
Research expectations include producing original, impactful work published in top journals (FT 50 and A list), books, case studies, white papers, and conference papers. Contributions to pedagogical innovations relevant to the regional context are also valued.
Service activities involve supporting program development, stakeholder engagement, and initiatives to enhance impact and holistic learning.
The faculty comprises:
HEC Paris faculty based abroad, collaborating with Qatar-based activities.
Faculty recruited locally under the sponsorship of Qatar Foundation, focusing on research, teaching, and service.
This position requires being based in Doha, Qatar, and is suited for candidates with significant experience in world-class Executive Education for senior managers and respected Executive MBAs.
We offer a competitive package including benefits such as housing stipends and tax incentives. The initial contract is for 3 years, renewable.

A Ph.D. from a reputable institution.
Evidence of research and teaching excellence, including publications in top journals.
Strong skills in engaging senior executive audiences.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus but not required.
