Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily factory operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Lead, train, and manage a team of skilled workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
Monitor inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials to support production needs.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the factory.
Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documenting progress and any issues for management review.
Qualifications And Skills
Proven experience as a Joinery Supervisor, Foreman, or Senior Joiner.
In-depth knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, materials, and woodworking machinery, CNC.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Basic computer skills (for reporting, email communication, etc.).
Relevant certification or diploma in carpentry/joinery is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in joinery or carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
