We are hiring a Factory Manager to join a leading global total brand activation agency in Dubai. Part of an extensive international network with production facilities spanning five continents, our client delivers world-class brand experiences across exhibitions and trade shows.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead production operations within a highly collaborative and globally connected organisation.
Discover the Role
As Factory Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end operations of the production facility, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality fabrication of exhibition stands, event structures, and bespoke fit-out projects.
You will be responsible for:
• Strategic production planning.
• Operational efficiency and performance.
• Team leadership and workforce management.
• Health, safety, and compliance.
• Continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all factory departments including Carpentry, Metalwork, Painting, CNC, Finishing, and
Logistics.
• Develop and implement production schedules aligned with project deadlines and resource availability.
• Ensure all fabrication and fit-out works meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate closely with Design, Project Management, Procurement, and Site Teams.
• Lead daily production meetings and proactively resolve operational or technical challenges.
• Monitor factory capacity, workforce allocation, and equipment utilization to maximize e
fficiency.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
• Manage factory budgets by reducing waste, optimising material usage, and controlling product
ion costs.
• Develop and mentor supervisors and skilled workers to build a high-performance culture.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, tracking systems, and reporting
processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce costs.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical
discipline.
• 8–10+ years of experience within a manufacturing, production, or factory environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a management role within the Exhibitions, Events, or Interior Fit-Out industry.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, materials, fabrication methods, and finishing
techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP or Production Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, and compliance standards.
