Description
Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a reliable and attentive Facility Operator to join the Facility & Administration Department. Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, this role is responsible for operating and monitoring facility systems on a daily basis and ensuring the continuous availability of services including electricity, HVAC, water, and sewage. The role focuses on early detection of issues, timely fault reporting, and effective coordination with maintenance teams and contractors to prevent service interruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor facility systems including Electrical, HVAC, Water, and Sewage
- Conduct daily inspections of buildings and service areas
- Record daily readings covering electricity, water, and system status
- Identify and report any abnormal conditions or faults promptly
- Receive maintenance requests and forward them to the relevant maintenance team or contractor
- Follow up on maintenance activities through to completion
- Coordinate with contractors during on-site maintenance work
- Ensure systems are functioning properly following maintenance activities
- Support emergency response situations including power outages, leakages, and system failures
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards
- Follow all safety procedures and EHSS requirements.
- Report faults and raise maintenance requests
- Monitor contractor activities on site
- Stop unsafe operations and report immediately to the relevant authority
- Escalate critical issues to management.
- Ensure continuous operation of facility services
- Timely reporting and response to issues
- Accuracy of daily logs and reports
- Follow up until full closure of all assigned tasks
- Compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility services or a similar role.
Technical Competencies
- Basic knowledge of facility systems including operations, maintenance, and general services
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare simple reports and maintain accurate records
- Awareness of safety procedures and EHSS requirements.
Behavioral Competencies
- Good observation and follow-up skills
- Basic communication skills in English and Arabic
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
