Facility Maintenance Foreman (Labour Camp Operations)
Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 2,500 – AED 3,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Facility Maintenance Foreman to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of company labour camps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring camp facilities are well-maintained, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized living environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of labour camps.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall camp conditions.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Supervise maintenance workers, cleaners, and camp staff.
- Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and municipality regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance requirements.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Handle accommodation-related issues and respond to employee concerns.
- Ensure proper allocation and upkeep of camp facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Camp Foreman, Facility Maintenance Foreman, or in a similar role in the UAE.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is an advantage).
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
