Facility Inspector

Job Purpose:

• To inspect, evaluate, and monitor the condition and performance of building facilities and systems to ensure proper functionality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of building structures, MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems), and external areas.

• Identify maintenance needs, defects, and safety hazards, and report them promptly.

• Verify that maintenance and repair works are executed according to approved standards and specifications.

• Prepare inspection reports and document findings with photos and recommendations.

• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of maintenance issues.

• Support preventive maintenance programs and assist in scheduling inspections.

• Monitor contractors’ performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Participate in handover inspections for new or renovated facilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services).

• Experience in facility inspection, maintenance supervision, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and inspection standards.

• Good understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance principles.

• Proficient in using inspection checklists, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection sites.
