Job Title: Machinist
Job Summary: The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce precise parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, CNC machines).
Interpret technical drawings and select materials for machining.
Perform precision machining operations like cutting, drilling, and grinding.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and ensure quality control.
Maintain and troubleshoot machines as needed.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
Experience with machine tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of machining processes and CNC operation is a plus.
