Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Operations: Manage daily operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness of all facilities.
- Maintenance Management: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs; oversee repairs and maintenance activities performed by internal staff and external contractors.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and vendors; negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
- Space Planning: Assist in planning and organizing space utilization, ensuring optimal layout and functionality.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainable practices and energy-saving measures within the facilities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train facility staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of facility management practices and building systems.
- Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in facility management software and MS Office Suite.
