We're looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operations of Mai Dubai's offices, distribution facilities, and employee accommodations across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in facility management, contractor supervision, preventive maintenance, and building systems while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, HSSE standards, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of offices, warehouses, and employee accommodations.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to maximize facility reliability.
- Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and according to contract terms.
- Prepare contractor scope of work, technical specifications, and support payment certification and work completion verification.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure quality standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer satisfaction are achieved.
- Coordinate building repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
- Support new facility acquisitions, fit-outs, and lease activities across the UAE.
- Optimize utilization of company facilities, accommodations, and storage locations.
- Monitor contractor manpower planning and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reporting for management.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, HSSE requirements, and company safety standards.
- Lead facility teams, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure excellent housekeeping and grooming standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, or Building Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations including Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) requirements.
- Hands-on experience managing preventive maintenance programs, contractor performance, and facility operations.
- Good understanding of civil, electrical, and mechanical building systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and maintenance reporting systems.
- Strong planning, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing contractors and maintenance teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
