Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Foreman is responsible for the execution of the facilities maintenance, the day-to-day supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Team, contractor management and supervision.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Coordinates and executes all activities of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
- Develops and leads a team of professional operatives.
- Management and supervision of contractors.
- Provides the material required for maintenance.
- Coordination with other departments in regard to maintenance in each building.
- Daily reporting.
- Ensures a safe working environment for all employees and contractors operating in Etihad Rail.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
Academic Qualifications:
- School certificate or equivalent.
Professional Qualifications:
- Recognized knowledge of facilities maintenance.
- Full driving license.
Experience:
- Relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge about HVAC, Fire Fighting & Low Voltage Distribution system.
- Depot Equipment’s, Central Battery System & CCTV.
- Building Plumbing & Drainage, Irrigation & UG Networks.
Other Skills:
- English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skill.
- Good planning skills.
- Ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate and direct employees.
