Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive facade safety plans ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations. Conduct rigorous site inspections and risk assessments specifically focused on facade integrity, identifying potential hazards before they escalated. Oversee the safe execution of all facade‑related works, including installation, maintenance, repairs and demolition, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Manage and coordinate third‑party facade inspections and testing, verifying the structural soundness and weather‑proofing of building envelopes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and CIOSH (Chartered Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in construction safety, with a significant focus on facade engineering or building envelope systems.
- Proven experience in managing safety on large‑scale construction projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of facade‑specific risks.
