Fabricator (Oil & Gas Industry) Jobs in Sharjah at Sarsan Heavy Engineering LLC
The Fabricator is responsible for reading engineering drawings, measuring and cutting materials, assembling metal structures, and fabricating components used in oil and gas projects. The role requires compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations while ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit metal materials according to project specifications.
- Fabricate structural steel, pipe supports, platforms, skids, tanks, and other oil and gas components.
- Assemble fabricated parts using appropriate hand and power tools before welding or final installation.
- Perform grinding, beveling, drilling, and edge preparation activities.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments such as tape measures, vernier calipers, and squares.
- Coordinate with welders, fitters, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and quality output.
- Inspect fabricated items to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any defects.
- Follow all company HSE policies, permit requirements, and safe work procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Support site installation and modification works when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Pay: AED1,000.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
