Job Description
Front Office Operation
Conduct daily briefings to ensure all team members are well-informed
Manage and supervise staff to deliver high-quality service and meet department standards
Review and improve workflow and standards at the Front Desk
Analyze rate variance reports for revenue control, approve discounts and rebates
Communicate with the Front Office Manager regarding guest services and operations
Document guest-related issues in the logbook
Sign media and supervise shift handovers
Coordinate with other departments on administrative and operational matters
Assist with guest needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently
Greet, room, and bid farewell to guests in collaboration with Guest Relations
Regularly inspect front and back of house for cleanliness and order
Ensure staff adhere to marketing techniques and maximize sales
Monitor billing, guest credit, and resolve discrepancies
Handle overbooking situations and make necessary arrangements
Manage On-Call Valet Desks and driveways to ensure efficiency
Ensure safety, security, and loss control policies are followed; manage emergencies
Conduct Night Audit for the hotel
Team Management
Provide orientation and training on hotel standards and procedures
Monitor team appearance, attitude, and professionalism
Motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Other Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of food & beverage services, outlets, and hotel features
Be familiar with fire, safety, and emergency procedures
Attend all required meetings and training sessions
Report for duty punctually in uniform and maintain personal hygiene
Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Information
Experience is an asset
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
