Executive Director, Private Banking KCG Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE/Dubai at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)
Responsibilities
- Building and managing a portfolio of ultra‑high net worth individuals (UHNWI) and high net worth individuals (HNWI) providing maximum personalized services.
- Maintain and expand current and future client base, acquiring net new business via referrals, contacts, and marketing.
- Proactively enhance Private Banking offerings (Group and/or Open Architecture) by initiating and supporting internal processes and workflows.
- Maintain and develop a client base of HNWI and UHNWI, providing excellent service, and develop net new business for the group; obtain and maintain business via referrals and recommendations within the Group.
- Manage specific projects end‑to‑end / 360°, including the liaison of other group colleagues.
- Develop new business through own sources, existing professional connections, and introductions via the bank, with strong interpersonal skills and experience in generating new business and managing high‑profile client relationships.
- Promote the three main businesses of Private Banking, marketing, and business development to clients for both Offshore (Switzerland) and Onshore (UAE).
- Solicit business primarily in the disciplines of the trilogy of Private Banking:
Banking, fiduciary (wealth protection such as trusts, foundations, offshore companies), and portfolio management (execution only, advisory & discretionary), including derivatives such as DCDs and esoteric funds (aircraft operating leases, mezzanine debt, etc.).
Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English, and Arabic, French, Hindi, and/or Urdu, as required by client geography.
- Ability to react quickly and professionally to all client requests 24/7/365, regardless of being present in the office, on vacation, or on an international business trip.
- Track record of excellent academic performance from a reputable university; preferable in business, economics, marketing and/or an MBA or accountancy/finance background.
- Strong relationship management and new/ongoing business development skills.
- At least five years of experience as an “industry hand” in private banking combined with experience in other banking environments or investment companies.
