About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join our Culinary Team at Jumeirah Red Sea. The main duties and responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Leading and managing kitchen staff through guidance, training, and motivation.
Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
Managing food inventory, controlling costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing portions.
Building relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing procurement.
Conducting menu costing, developing budgets, and monitoring expenses for profitability.
About You:
Over 10 years of international experience in five-star hotels and restaurants, with a strong background in luxury service environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with good project management skills.
Creative problem-solving abilities to enhance operational efficiency.
