We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef specializing in Kenyan cuisine to join our team in Abu Dhabi As the leading restaurant offering authentic Kenyan dishes we are looking for a passionate and talented individual to lead our kitchen team
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Kenyan cuisine including traditional cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain quality standards
- Must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi UAE
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop menus featuring traditional Kenyan dishes ensuring authenticity and quality
- Manage food inventory ordering and cost control to meet budgetary goals
- Train supervise and schedule kitchen staff according to business needs
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management on pricing strategies and promotions
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
