We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update menus with creative and innovative Indian dishes.
- Source high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine.
- Excellent knowledge of traditional and modern Indian dishes, cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and experience maintaining a clean kitchen.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays if necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Executive Chef in an upscale restaurant or hotel.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification/training preferred.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Valid residence visa/work permit for Saudi Arabia; own visa preferred.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with medical insurance, annual leave and other benefits.
