Overview:
Ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and that there is minimal downtime during venue or events related activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
IT infrastructure management & maintenance:Manage and maintain IT infrastructure for events, including hardware and software systems, networking, disaster recovery plans and ensure compliance with data security regulations.
IT event management:Implement and manage event registration, access control, audiovisual and event management software systems to ensure their optimal functionality and efficiency during events.
Collaboration &leadership:Collaborate with various units to identify areas of improvement in IT systems to ensure IT systems meet Ethara’s needs.
Job Specifications:
10 years’ experience in an IT role, preferably within the entertainment/events industry.Proven track recordof developing and executing successful IT strategies and initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Professional IT qualification.
Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure in supporting events.
Experience in managing mobile technologies, access control systems and audiovisual systems.
Preferred: MCSE, CNE, CISCO, ITIL and PMP.
Excellentcommunication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex IT challenges.
