Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and creative Event Manager for a 6-month contract (with potential for renewal) to lead and execute end-to-end event strategy, concept development, and operational delivery in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have strong agency experience, a proven track record of managing events across diverse sectors (including the private sector), and exceptional supplier management and budgeting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Concept & Proposal Development: Draft compelling event proposals, strategic frameworks, and creative concepts tailored to client objectives.
End-to-End Event Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of events—from initial planning, layout, and programming to on-site coordination and post-event reporting.
Supplier & Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party suppliers, AV teams, venues, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
Budget Oversight: Formulate, monitor, and manage event budgets, ensuring maximum ROI and strict cost control.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams, external clients, and private sector partners to deliver high-quality event experiences.
Requirements & Qualifications
Visa Requirement: Must hold a valid UAE residence visa (Freelance, Spouse, Family, or own sponsorship). We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Experience: 5 to 8+ years of event management experience within the UAE.
Background: Prior experience working in an event agency setting is strongly preferred.
Language Skills: Professional English-speaking skills (strongly preferred).
