Job Summary
We are hiring Estimators to manage cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects. The successful candidate will support effective cost control, accurate measurements, and compliance with contractual and project requirements.
Estimator
Key Responsibilities
· Review civil engineering drawings and prepare accurate BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
· Take off quantities from drawings and project specifications.
· Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project requirements.
· Identify and contact suitable suppliers and subcontractors for required materials and works.
· Perform site measurements, quantity take-offs, and material analysis
· Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
· Prepare and submit material and project quotations.
· Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
· Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and supplier pricing.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
· Experience in civil estimation, quantity take-off, and BOQ preparation.
· Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
· Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market prices.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in Autocad and MS Office and relevant estimation/quantity surveying software is an advantage.
· Candidates with relevant construction experience are preferred.
