Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Luxury Retail Interior) Jobs in Dubai at Unigraf
We are looking for a highly skilled Estimator with experience in luxury retail interior projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, sourcing competitive pricing, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and an understanding of high-end materials and finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project scope and unique client requirements.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Prepare and present comprehensive cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain an updated database of material, labor, and subcontractor costs specific to luxury retail interiors.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, UAE regulations, and company policies.
Support contract negotiations and bid submissions for high-profile luxury retail projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury retail interior projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of high-end materials, finishes, and construction methods used in luxury interiors.
Proficiency in estimating software (such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with UAE building codes, industry standards, and procurement processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-end retail interiors.
Knowledge of contract administration and value engineering.
Certification in Estimation or Quantity Surveying is a plus.
