Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Sharjah at AL DAIEM TENTS INDUSTRIES
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects related to structural works, landscaping, tents, parking shades, and sunshade systems. The ideal candidate will analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure competitive and precise project pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for structural and shade-related projects
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for:
- Tensile structures & tents
- Car parking shades
- Sunshade systems
- Landscaping structures (pergolas, gazebos, etc.)
- Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
- Analyze labor, materials, and equipment costs
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns
- Identify risks and value engineering opportunities
- Support project team during tendering and post-award stages
- Maintain estimation records and pricing database
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in estimation (preferably in UAE/GCC)
- Experience in tents, tensile structures, parking shades, or landscaping works is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of materials such as steel structures, fabric (PVC/PTFE/HDPE), aluminum, etc.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (knowledge of estimation software is an advantage)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Pay: AED1,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
