Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation:
- Analyze project requirements from customer briefs, artwork, or technical drawings.
- Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment usage, and additional services.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for digital and offset printing jobs, fabrication projects, and event-related services.
- Quotations:
- Provide clear, well-structured quotes to sales and account management teams.
- Ensure pricing is competitive while maintaining profitability.
- Material Analysis:
- Research and select appropriate materials and suppliers based on project specifications.
- Maintain a database of current material and service costs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, production, and design teams to understand project scope and deliverables.
- Communicate directly with vendors and suppliers for pricing and availability.
- Project Planning Support:
- Assist in defining timelines, production schedules, and resource allocation based on estimates.
- Identify potential challenges in production or execution and propose solutions.
- Market Trends and Cost Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, costs of raw materials, and market demands to refine estimation accuracy.
- Regularly update pricing models to reflect changes in costs and market conditions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, quotes, and revisions for future reference.
- Generate reports on estimation accuracy, project profitability, and cost trends.
