We are looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our estimation team at our Al Quoz facility and support our growing project pipeline.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Estimator with 3–5 years of experience in aluminium and façade estimation to join our Al Quoz team. Reporting directly to the Estimation Manager, you will play a key supporting role in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and supplier quotation analysis across a diverse range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level estimator to develop their skills under experienced leadership within a well-established and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Estimation Manager in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and BOQs for aluminium, glazing, façade, and curtain wall projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, shop drawings, and tender documents accurately and efficiently.
- Request, collate, and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to support competitive bid preparation.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender submissions, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Maintain and update the estimation database including unit rates, material pricing, and supplier information.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify scope, exclusions, and clarification requirements.
- Liaise with the design, engineering, and procurement teams to gather technical information required for accurate pricing.
- Support value engineering exercises by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or scope.
- Assist in post-tender reviews and cost reconciliations to support continuous improvement in estimation accuracy.
- Maintain organised records of all estimates, tender submissions, and pricing correspondence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of estimation experience in the aluminium, glazing, façade, or curtain wall industry — UAE experience is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of aluminium systems including curtain wall, structural glazing, windows, doors, and façade cladding.
- Proficiency in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation from architectural and shop drawings.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tender specifications accurately.
- Good analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office — advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawing interpretation is an advantage.
- Ability to work well within a team and support senior colleagues under tight tender deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English — Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
