Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and project teams during the tendering process.
- Prepare rate analysis and pricing for variations and additional works.
- Maintain a database of material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.
- Ensure estimates comply with client specifications and project requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in civil construction, roads, infrastructure, or building projects.
- Experience in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and tender pricing.
