Job Summary
The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender submissions for CCTV, ELV, and Fire Fighting System projects. The role includes reviewing tender documents, conducting quantity take-offs, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), obtaining supplier quotations, and ensuring compliance with client specifications, Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD) requirements, and applicable international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs for CCTV, ELV, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Prepare accurate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
- Prepare BOQs, material submittals, and estimation reports.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams during the bidding process.
- Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client clarification meetings.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, QCDD regulations, NFPA standards, and local authority requirements.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
- Maintain updated cost databases and vendor pricing.
- Support project handover by providing estimation documents and technical clarifications after contract award.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in estimating CCTV, ELV, and Fire Fighting System projects.
- GCC or Qatar experience is preferred.
- Preferred Driving License
- Expected Salary: (5,000-6,000 QAR)
