Estimation Engineer Cum Drafter Jobs in Sharjah at Al IKHTAYAR AL MUMAYAZ AUTOMATIC DOORS
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair generators, including diesel, gas, and propane-powered systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in generator systems and provide timely, effective repairs.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fuel system maintenance, and electrical inspections.
Troubleshoot electrical control systems, wiring, and connections.
Test and inspect generators to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
Perform load bank testing to ensure generators are capable of handling full operational loads.
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records for each unit serviced.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services to prolong the lifespan of the equipment.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for repair and service operations.
Work in compliance with all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Provide technical support to clients and customers regarding generator operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals and maintain quality service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or relevant training in electrical or diesel technology preferred
● Preferably has 1-2 years experience in the electrical or diesel generator maintenance field but not required
● Must have prior knowledge of diesel engine systems and electrical systems, including wiring, controls, and safety devices.
● Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing issues in electrical circuits and components
● Basic understanding of generator control systems, including PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control panels
