Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to develop, detail, and prepare multi-discipline estimates for civil, building, MEP, and fit-out projects, covering all cost elements including engineering, materials, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify requests for estimates and proposals, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Gather and analyze project data, including scope, timeline, and resources.
Verify quantities in RFPs and highlight any deviations.
Determine required manpower, materials, and equipment for accurate budgeting.
Issue requests for proposals to obtain quotations for tender submission.
Develop project cost estimates from BOQ and specifications, and input them into ERP software for internal approval.
Assist with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
Utilize both computer-estimating programs and manual methods.
Stay updated on developments in cost estimating through technical literature, contractor contacts, site visits, and professional meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using ERP software.
Excellentcommunicationand organizational skills.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
