Position: ERM Senior Specialist (Risk Framework)

Role Overview
The ERM Senior Specialist will support the development, maintenance, and execution of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in alignment with group-wide policies and best practices. This position plays a key role in conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation plans, maintaining risk registers, and supporting risk reporting across the organization.
Preference: Candidates with a background in the Energy or Oil and Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
ERM Framework
Conduct periodic reviews of the ERM policy, framework, and systems to ensure relevance and alignment with best practices.
Coordinate with the group ERM team to develop and maintain an effective ERM function.
Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) across the enterprise.
Assist in developing and implementing the Risk Management Plan on an annual basis.
Risk Assessment
Guide functions and senior management in identifying, reporting, and evaluating internal and external risks.
Conduct workshops with departments to develop risk treatment and mitigation plans.
Analyze external factors (political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental) impacting strategic objectives.
Support cross-functional collaboration for updates to the Corporate Risk Register.
Research and recommend improvements to risk management approaches based on industry benchmarks.
Conduct regular follow-ups on the status of identified risks and mitigation actions.
Risk Reporting
Maintain monitoring structures, dashboards, templates, and documentation related to risk.
Ensure data accuracy within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system.
Develop the annual enterprise risk report aligned with organizational strategy and performance reporting.
Aggregate risk exposures across different risk functions and ensure integrated reporting.
Liaise regularly with group stakeholders on entity-wide risk reporting.
Ensure risk management systems comply with regulatory requirements.
Training and Awareness
Develop and update ERM training materials for employees and Risk Champions.
Embed ERM methodologies, tools, and templates throughout the organization.
Facilitate training sessions and awareness workshops.
Monitor sector trends and recommend improvements to risk management practices.
Standard Responsibilities
Implement relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and related change management efforts.
Prepare and contribute to risk-related reports as per the ERM framework.
Report progress and seek guidance from the Risk Manager (Qualitative) as required.
